The AKG K451 are good-looking, good-sounding on-ear headphones that are perfect for a work commute. the AKG K451 avoid the uninspiring “wall of sound” effect that we disliked so much in those ultra-popular headphones. At around half the price, these AKGs blow the beats out of the water for value in our opinion.

K3003i, the priciest in-ears we’ve tested, but also, by a massive margin, the best. They even put pricely full-size units to shame.
